NorthWall Builders, Inc. (NWB) is a general contracting company located in Palo Alto, CA specializing in the teamwork approach to residential construction.  We believe that owners, architects, engineers, interior designers and contractors working closely together can effectively control costs, minimize schedule duration and maximize quality.

NWB was started in 1996 by Stephen Reller and Mark Moragne.  Stephen, born and raised in Palo Alto, has a background steeped in real estate and business.  Mark grew up in Hawaii and has years of experience in business, engineering and construction.  Ken Thompson, a native of Redwood City, became a partner in 2002 and brings years of construction experience to NWB.

NWB is a small company working on two to three projects at any one time.  Projects are typically new homes or major remodels in and around Palo Alto.  Staffing of jobs is done with lead carpenters who are both craftsmen and managers and are given the responsibility of ensuring the project is being managed to the project teams expectations.   We understand that NWB is a service provider and not just a contractor.  Goals when working on a project are to understand the homeowner’s needs, communicate often with the homeowner, provide value to our customers and provide a safe, clean and organized jobsite for our employees and subcontractors.

NorthWall Builders believes that home building is part tradition and part innovation with a great deal of hard work and attention to detail. Our track record shows that by following this belief, coupled with a deep understanding of the construction business, we are able to build beautiful homes time and time again.
